IN COLLABORATION WITH CITY OF WESTMINSTER COLLEGE, WE ARE EXCITED TO INTRODUCE YOU TO OUR NEW PROGRAM:
English + Music Video Production
This five-session course will aim to provide students with a grounding of the technical and creative skills required to shoot an effective music video. From a song submitted by and selected by members of the group, you will learn how to work with the script, use camera, lighting and sound and take effective responsibility for everything that appears on the screen.
Once familiarised with the equipment and theoretical issues surrounding making a music video, students will participate in the making of a one, from a song submitted from a member of the group, using the college studios, grounds and other suitable locations.
All stages of the digital film production process will be covered, from pre-production, production and post. The video will be shot using DSLR equipment and edited on Adobe Premiere Pro.
The course is ideal for those with little or no experience or those wishing to brush up on their skills. It could act as a platform to take on more ambitious music video or filmmaking projects.
